Digital Price Tags:
A digital price tag can be used to provide real-time retail (including auction) convergence between consumers on the web and wireless, and those on-location.
This concept includes self-contained, purpose-built price tags using wireless and display technologies such as RFID, WiFI, etc. and digital paper (einc, etc). The concept also extends to mobile phones, PDAs, and other devices (iPods, etc) as well as the web. (Browser, PC, etc) further...
The brand and concept of "push2buy" allows mobile and web consumers to shop in real-time, and to also react in real-time to bargains. - Possibly posted from the Corefile console by retailers and vendors who wish to sell items, possibly at clearance prices. Consumers viewing items from the phone would be able to place a call to the merchant, or make a selection on the phone to directly purchase or reserve the item. When the stock for a push2buy listing in a Corefile store drops to zero, the item will be removed from the collective push2buy catalog. This catalog will be available for general browsing, and include the ability for item searches. An alert engine will allow consumers to register interest in specific items, and to notify them via SMS, email, phone, chat, etc. and the push2buy web and mobile client. Consumers will be able to create "zones of interest" which will determine the geographical regions in which they are interested in finding an item. Items will often be picked up in person, but shipping will also be supported.
In addition, the push2buy brand may extend to auctions, reverse auctions, deal-a-day, and general shopping. - Including in-store and web retail, coffee shops, fast food, grocery, and convenience outlets, and any phone-based non-contact "smart" purchasing. - Including loto gambling, ring-tones, music and any device download-able content. - The push2buy brand could become a generic term for phone payment usage, as well as extend to the web browser, PCs, and other devices including iPods, etc.
The push2buy brand may also be extended to the digital price-tags described in this email.
The Corefile virtual store accepts orders from consumers and forwards these orders to the appropriate Corefile vendor for drop-shipping fulfilment. This model allows product placement (eg a bed in a hotel) to be sold on the (hotel) web-site, but fulfilled by the (hotel's) vendor. The hotel would receive a royalty payment for orders placed. The Corefile store inventory will allow storage of both real (stocked) and virtual (drop-shipped) items.
